These are in my yard and along the road I walk too.

Black Eyed Susan

The Black Eyed Susan is looking at me
As if it is filled with curiosity
All I am doing is walking on by
Maybe it's my dog, she is not that shy
The torrential rain is heading our way
I choose to write about flowers today
A muse filled with blossoms to share with you
For colors and happiness to shine on through

Thank you Tom. We had a break, but now a hurricane is coming tomorrow, which is not common here. I hope you are having a nice weekend and all is well :)

I laid down my petition to your muse. I was rejected but amused.
