Black Diamond Night

Night, moonless, is a blanket of thick threads woven blacker than black - a tapestry of stars above. Night, moonless, is a blanket of diamonds, and the eyes of my love are glittering too now I’m back! Night, moonless, is a blanket of thick threads woven blacker than black. Beautiful poem, Andrea, but where are the black diamonds -- unless, we're talking about black holes and/or dark matter. Congrats! :-)

It's all in the interpretation. I'm thinking a Black Night that also happens to be a Diamond night. A Black (Diamond night) though i can understand it also being seen as a Black diamond (night).

Andrea...yes I knew this poem was a triolet (a very good one too)...I studied your contest page closely and even took down some notes on Connie's example...hope it doesn't fill up too quick!

Wow Andrea!...This is a real beauty... I predict a winner...going to try to come up with something for your contest although that form sounds VERY challenging!...I'm amazed that Connie invented this form though I shouldn't be surprised - Tim

Black Jack sat back, said he lost his mind. In the midst of a black hole, his soul he couldn't find. The stars were gone and now it's dawn. His warmth was drained as he slept on the lawn. Where can he go now he doesn't know. No one to show the way. Dust's himself off so no one will scoff and gets on with his day.
