Black Butterfly
POEM " BLACK BUTTERFLY " by martin gedge
Though shall hold the darkness in the hands that reap the soul
a purge onto the serpent with the eyes as black as coal
death it will deliver on the spines that break the back
an ax onto the servant with the thrust of every hack
limp upon the knees he shall remain to fall the floor
and vultures will subscribe to feast the angels they adore
to plead for heaven sake there be remorse in due of kind
a pig will do the jig a rub it's filth into the wine
for light will burn on empty in the silent solitude
to rip the skin and bake within the oven in the nude
and scale the dial of fowl and file to fuel the deadly gas
to take to sky black butterfly of feather dust and ash...
