Black Blancmange

Viscid,
      Black,
           Highly spoonable.

Floating,
        Submerged,
                 Gellid pieces.

Flotsam,
       Jetsam,
             Relics of life?

Putrescent,
          Vaporous,
                  Motifs of death.

Ubiquitous,
          Ignored,
                 Feast for vultures.
