Black and Blue
when i met you i never knew
that you would ever make me black and blue
thought you loved me but how could that be true
not if you could hit me and make me black and blue
even i,loved you so much but apparently that wasn't enough
you had to have all of the control until your beatings took a toll
i finally realized how could this be if i loved you and you loved me
why oh why would you beat on me
domestic violence is what you inflicted on me
you need help thats plain to see
i'm ok and will always be
because i love myself enough to set myself free
