Bittersweet

If I had to feast on one last treat, I wouldn’t think twice. Palate pleasing plunge, elite - Farewell dark and bittersweet. Mayan, Belgian, Swiss - Adieu to all spice - Chocolate I will miss.

Dark chocolate has always been my favorite. You have wetted my appetite, Maggie. Hugs.

Dear Margarita, I love the evocative imagery of your poem as it reflects bidding farewell to chocolate which is poignant and yet indulgent. Your artistic words capture the essence of longing and pleasure in a bittersweet farewell. I enjoyed it and I know my wife would never give up Dark Chocolate. Lol! - Blessings, Daniel
