Bitter

You might glance in that vague direction. A second too long. Your eye may focus on something as mythical as the unicorn Bitter Guarded That girl You know her from around the city The one with the blank stare She holds her head high sometimes No-one notices anything strange Bitter Guarded Guess if that smile was real She tried to tell the world, inspiration comes from the strangest places She tried to be like you She knew he was everything she wasn’t She speaks in the third person Well, to try and forget that she’s me
