I see bison meat in the store sometimes and buy it. I guess a few are still around even though , like everything else, we have killed off such a great number of this animal. Very nicely done.

Thanks Andrea, while helping my son with his drive from Ontario to BC for his new position we listened to "Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches" by S. C. Gwynne and it really brought home how quickly it happened and completely changed the Great Plains.
