Birthday Thoughts
another birthday has just passed,
hope this year is better than last;
but now that you are here with me,
my life will be happy and free;
you treat me like the king I am,
my queen you are, for sure yes ma'am;
together we will spend all our days,
in all the tender and loving ways
I will give you all of my love,
that you can cherish and thank him above;
we will watch our slowly waning years,
filled with happiness and no tears;
we'll watch the sunsets each passing day,
knowing the end is some years away.
