There is so much to plan With so many things to do Organizing a surprise Birthday Party So they haven't got a clue A venue chosen and since reserved The guest list checked and written Invitations printed and sent There's no time for indecision A theme had been selected Superheros' would reign that night Decorating would be easy Balloons that are nice and bright Entertainment will be a live band They're friends of the Birthday surprise They insisted that they do it Promising to play a lot of jive A cake has been pre-ordered To be picked up on the day This Birthday Bash it was now planned Let the celebrations get under way The following Saturday it was booked A Birthday that won't be forgot Decorating complete, band in place Food, drinks and cake from the shop A ride has already been pre-arranged Guests arrived earlier on the day The music stopped and the lights went dim Then everyone yelled 'Surprise Happy Birthday' Well he was in total shock He'd never suspected a thing We'd managed to achieve what we'd planned A Birthday fit for a king! 06/02/2016
