Birthday Party

It’s the day before your birthday
One year older once again
This year may be different
Nobody knows but you

You get the plans started
What you would like to eat
For breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack
And what you like to drink

You may want some friends over
Only maybe one or two
Or may just want it to be a family party
But this is your decision to make

The day has come
You’re getting mostly everything you want
Having the most fun you could possibly have
The day is gone like a breeze
