Birthday
All the swallows are singing a blithe chorus,
For this is a special day and the’re sclerous,
Ushering in a new leaf of nature’s eden,
Indeed it is a special day for a special person.
Like the sun and moon,
This day ends but only for a new to begin,
Like the four seasons roar,
This day passes away only to return once more.
Close your alluring eyes and make a wish,
Award it with wings and let it fly with swish,
Vastly beyond the highest mountain top,
Up into the clear blue skies that lop.
Now blow out your candles’ beret,
We do not need to count those candles today,
Let’s just bask in the lovely glow they make,
For you deserve the sweetest cake.
Happy Birthday.
