Birthday

What a birthday it has been, if I was not so sad I would grin. As I walk by the table I see my angels spreading their wings, there are two and they are beautiful twins. They see the tears in my eyes, it makes them do likewise. A year with a special day, and it all went terribly astray. Balloons should be flying, gifts and cards they should be buying. But no gifts no cake, just a bowl of bran flakes. Now what can I say, I wish I could just run away. Date Written:4/21/2021

Thank You, for reading and for writing. It has been a tough year for everyone. Many like yourself have been through the worse of it. I spent 2 years working on this party. My friends knew this. They would not leave their homes. I even had wrapped gifts for them. That is life, so I made a poem out of it. Here it all sits. Have a blessed day................

Funny, my mom is a twin. Her sis went before her. Last week mom died. The two sisters that remain out of six kids depicted on a dock - the two on the outside the twins. R.I.P. my mom June <3

Thank You, for reading, writing and for your Happy Birthday. Guess I should have added a note. It is not my Birthday. It is true, I did write this from this year's Birthday. I cried for a week, now I am over it. I did feel my angels were crying with me. Yes, bran flakes will keep me grounded. Have a blessed day.................
