Birth of a Prince

Birth of a Prince
Dr. James E. Martin

A prince was born today,
In a land so far away.
The world to the media was glued
Awaiting the news long pursued.

The royal family has grown
A future king to the world shown.
Soon we will know his name,
And watch his rise to fame.

We remember a time long gone,
Another Babe to the world was shown.
Prince of peace was He,
King of kings to be!

In obscurity He lived and died
That man could with Him abide.
When we compare the births of the two,
There’s really no comparison – ‘tis true!
