Birth of a Poem

Out on the early morning porch
As dawn cracks on the horizon
Waiting inspiration for which ensearch
Look upon grass and weeds not gazon

Then rising sun touches earth
Crack of light that wakes cooing birds
At that moment a poem's birth
Page fills_ inspired poetic words
