Birth

Little person, all warm and pink.
Downy head, eyes black as ink.
Yesterday you were still unborn.
Today you are here to greet the Dawn

The months of waiting now are past.
And my darling you are here at last.
Such perfection, can it really be.
This wonderful creation was.....
Born of me?
