Birds in My Flower Cup

Birds are in my flower cup
Taking in nectar for their food
Pollen with their feet to carry
To the ground to be chewed.
There in the fertile soil,
My kin will grow and bloom
For someone to admire
Or Fill fragrance in a room.
Birds in my flower cup
Attracted by colour and smell
Find nectar like bees
For their honeycomb to swell.
