Bird of Prey At Work

I am a bird of prey at work Consider myself head of the food chain Keep it to myself of course I fly off before my talons rip or tear shredding my coworkers into rethinking I am proud to be a no-kill predator Here comes one of the baby birds now She flits around, tweeting and trilling I hold myself back

Great metaphor, Caren. I have, in my time, encountered a few "baby birds" whose time had not yet come, but they were convinced they were the fountain of knowledge!~

It is amazing to me how age 19 thinks they know everything, whereas age 91 knows they know practically nothing.

I think you need a rattle Caren....you know....just give it a little shake to alert them to the imminent danger as they approach. Enjoyed this very humorous insight.
