Bird of Prey

A flash of wing.............
Exploded feathers.......
Bird of prey
Nature's way
Raptor's thing

The Falcon's speed
Victim,pays no heed
Aerial violence,
in the sunlit blue silence

The Hawk........
flashing by
High speed dart in the sky

The kestrel............
Hovering above ground
The assassin............
Kills without a sound

Mighty Eagle............
Lord of the sky
Feathers of gold
Mighty Eagle,
So bold

Bird of prey...........
Slash of beak.......
Rip of talon
Hunting, the only day

Flashing shadow
Feathers ,glow
Prey ,to die
Bird of prey
Lord of sky

The sun,at your back
You, make your attack
The keen eye,
surveys, all the sky

Masters of the air
Eagles lair
Compete, if you dare
Your life ,not to spare

Delightful read. I read a book about a man one time and I can not reminder the title right now. He kept a falcon. That story opened my eyes more to these magnificent creatures. The way that you put it together is great. Keep writing. Sara
