Bird of Prey
Bird of prey will dive today,
His quarry soon consumed
From one mile high,
Will catch it’s eye,
So life goes on,
resumed.
Touch not the chick ,
Of eagle quick,
Iron talons claw your face,
Flashing feathers ,
Clawed and bit,
Begone, it’s not your place.
Our Aussie Eagle Hawk ,
Has a 6 foot span of wing,
Carries off a lamb in spring,
Old Rabbit sometimes feels the sting,
And still he flies of course:) 31-july-11
