Beautiful Scars Poet Verse

Biopsy

B  L  I  N  D  to the truth I lay
   burrowed from the exam.
      Beneath my skin, in my 
         breast lives a large tumor.
By the time the needle
   bubbled in my veins, my
      beauty had  d  e  p  a  r  t  e  d.
