Biological Father
The man I wished to but didn't know
A Father that left a very long time ago
I've wondered if he thought of the girls he left behind
Did he feel anything or were we ever on his mind
Always wondering if it was easy for him to go
Though small children oh how we still loved him so
Wondering for such a long time what we did
How can a man walk away from even one little kid
A new family a new life was his dream come true
How could you leave those five little girls who loved you
What is there that makes a man a father
Why was it for us it seemed such a bother
As years pass I still do not understand
How you throw away children with your wedding band
One day I would like an answer to this one!
