Biaccidentally

By accident I saw a note Which had a word I'd never seen. "Biaccidentally," she wrote. It caught my eye; what did it mean? A combination, it appeared Of two expressions, I could tell - "By accident" and what I feared Was "accidentally" as well. A clever hybrid, two words joined, Creating something new and fresh. However, not all words get coined For they'd be better not to mesh.

LOL You should see some of the "meshed words" people come up with in limerick contests. When it's done for a comic effect, that doesn't bother me. I am, however, a grammarian who cringes when "a lot" is written as "alot." Yikes! You should hear me criticizing actors on TV. LOL No, better that you don't hear me. Really enjoyed this one, Ilene!
