Beyond the Cover

There is more beyond the cover
and title of this book
It's pages hold a lifetime
if only one would look
Throughout each and every chapter
the different stories dwell
From sailing rough and raging seas
to journeys traveled well
Beyond the date of copyright
from which this book was born
Lie the secrets, hopes and memories
as the pages are now worn
When you look upon the outside
as your scorning words do hover
Keep this in mind, if nothing else
don't judge this book just by it's cover

So is it good then...that I rip the sleeve off a book before I read it? I pour through the pages without regard to what the picture outlay told me was inside....this is a great message here Miss Alana
