Beyond the Candies and Toys
Far, steps beyond the taste of candies
And the fun of toys
Lies the pain of youth
The dismay of the world
The death of innocence
The stage of thoughts
The theatre of pain
Lies beyond the candies and toys
Deep down the journey of age
Amidst the turns and change of seasons
There an ambush is staged
By demons of time, that devours innocence
Little one, do not wander
You can't imagine what waits there
Keep to your chocolates and candies and toys
For far beyond them, lays the bound of despair
