Beyond Recognition

Beyond recognition

Beyond reflection there in madness lies
Two moons ascension you may fantasize
The black cat that passes then quietly pries
The owl spins his head to reveal his bright yellow eyes
A girl in a bright blue rain coat stands on top of a hill and flies
The dogs of war bark so loudly as if to ask them to rise and rise
The beggar praying in the street with a story you know so well you realize
The back streets filled with voices of the dead all shout baron cries
A man who says he’s a ghost then gives you a word to the wise
You know you cannot escape because you’ve passed were reality ties
The signal is that you speak but no one understands what is in you denies
A journey to the edge of reason is a path to somewhere only you recognise.
