Beware the Liar's Tongue

Whispers heard as sweet nothings here,
Full of enchanted lies just to fill the ears…
Tantalizing young hearts filled by lusty desires,
Broken down rusty critter heading for fire…
What should one in innocence, expect to acquire…
From one who whispers with the tongue of a liar?

Comments: The liar's tongue is full of deceit and there is
no truth in it.

Very beautifully penned. A shame we cannot be honest and forthright with each other, that we are so afraid. So much truth conveyed here. Regards, Sara:)

A warning to be heeded. Sadly, there are many like the one of whom you write about. Well expressed. Love, Shar

Your words are clear in meaning and flow smoothly. It is a shame that there are people like that. A very well written piece. Michael
