Beware of Your Shadow
When everything and everyone repel from you
Because of the evil you emanate,
Your hushed shadow always stays with you-
It stays true like a son, or a loving dog,
right at your heels, never talking.
Speechless as a stick.
But beware
When that very Shadow starts stalking you
Since it has had enough of your evil stench
There is nowhere else to self conceal....
For you will Look over your shoulder
And it will still be there, there and there-
Like the eery ghost of the victim you gutted.
You will Shiver and thin and thin
As teeth quiver and rattle in a blink
While that Shadow will but rub its nebulous hands
and grin, grin, grin,
And with cold-eyes, whisper-
"Till death do us part, buddy,
I shall Haunt you to death."
