We all pride ourselves because we live in the year 2021 A year in which humanity so much progress has done Violence and hatred we thought were things of the past And war and terror, we believed, were not possible to last Then a moment comes when an appalling act takes place That makes all of us look ourselves in the face Then we realize with much horror and a lot of disgust That the beast Man carries within, may turn the world to dust! © Demetrios Trifiatis 19 September 2021

When I look back at history and read about massacres and other atrocities that man has carried out against his fellow man I realise that nothing has really changed and that we haven't really learnt from the past. Power, greed and evil feeds the beast in mankind. Tom
