Between You and Him
he has conveyed at times that life has disappointed him without saying it in words
he longs for more than an ordinary life and a wife who does what he says
no need for the little thrills and flourishes and warmth one would perfer to offer
his spouse is a taboo subject most of the time until he brings it up
their lives are centered in different worlds as they have become virtual strangers
his entire life seemed to be a peeling-off process
no one was entering everyone ws exiting his own life seemed to devour him
it was unsalvagable
he was momumentally depressed but felt a need to go to confession
there was a knot of angst in his stomach but at the same time he had a lighter heart
and a clearer head
he felt human again no longer did he feel powerless and defenseless
what was it what had happened it was like he caught his second wind
look up look around you He's there He's everywhere the powers in us all
all it takes is a personal phone call to Him and a forgiveness of sins to make us feel whole
again
