Between Us
My hands have been bound to my chest
Where they rest upon my breast
Between us, there is no air
There is only a flare
You have now become my life vest
I feel like I am falling
But for you, I am only crawling
I will beg on my knees for you
I will do anything that you want me to
Your name is all that I am calling
Skin to skin
I hold my breath to your chin
Heart to heart
We are never to part
The space between our face so paper thin
I look into your eyes
I can tell that I am your prize
I want to lie with you forever
This way everything will get better
And hopefully, nothing else dies
