Between the Shadow and the Sun
Forget I’m dreaming
Place my mind within a kiss
For what I’m feeling
For everything that I resist
I’m sitting nowhere
I’ll watch what god can think of this
I could go somewhere
Load this gun and kill some bliss
The swirling night
My eyes just had to look
A second glance
And the darkness overtook
I know it’s nothing
I learnt that I am just killing mind
This makes it something
Something I just won’t ever find
I would hold you
I’d let the shadow through
I would give in
But then I’d kill you too
Another circle
Another endless lie
Another reason
It’s just another empty cry
One more last goodbye
