Between Me and You

Between Me & You
By:Sami LaRose

You fill me up with hope only to let me down
Over and over again it was the same play on words, the same tricks, trying to be deceiving
Acting like I didn't know
You can't play the one who always knew you the most.
As a fool the way my lips moved and then tingled upon yours
Soft and silent unspoken words of two people who always found it hard to converse
These are the words of a broken soul
No longer any hope
Time will heal all wounds, but only I'd they aren't between me and you

Sami, love your name. stopping in to read a poem or two. life is never fun, when healing all wounds. It's always good at first, then we fall, bad or good, we fall. enjoyed~ SKAT
