It must be an echo, a melody one that holds me near, holds me here so why do stars glow, is it all a show? My lips fight, to recite, what I don’t know Could I be, should I be, the only one you see? I should go, I will stay Please tell me - between breaths, answer me this, why do I exist, only through memory? Could I be, should I be, the only one you see? Please tell me - Maybe reaching for you, in moments true, was my mistake, it is more than I can take, so much more than I can honestly take I should go, I will stay so lost in what to do I don’t understand why, my heart seems to ache, over you Please tell me - between breaths, answer me this, why do I exist, only through memory? Could I be, should I be, the only one you see? Please tell me - ~ I am just a memory ~ ------------------ *Just a little Scribble* Author’s Note- These lyrics reflect the pain that circles a heart when feeling love. It being close, yet in reality, it is so far away.

You delve deeply--and movingly --into the angst one feels when he/she longs for acceptance from a loved one but doesn't receive it. Many can identify with that; it is almost commonplace. so many times one loves another whom is just beyond their reach, this one feels like a lonely heart crying out to the one they love wanting the same in return... poignant, yet beautiful at the same time...i could feel the emotions in this one...hugs

Love does not make sense sometimes, especially when the other does not express their feelings or do not hold the same feelings... this is sad poem of yearning for a beloved... and craving truth....
