Between

From black to white,
color turns to gray.
  From day to night,
the setting turns to twilight.
  From happy to sad,
mood becomes mad.
  From hot to cold,
temperature becomes warm.
  From women to men,
comes a child.
  From frown to smile,
face becomes a grin.
  From tall to short,
height turns to average.
  From jail to court,
law comes to trails.
  From walks to runs,
distance becomes miles.
  From young to old,
age comes to teen.
  Where there is one,
there is another.
  The space in between.
