Better way
Walking on through a door
Seeking one day more
To see another sunrise
Past the raindrops the world cries
Wishing always for a better way
Or even the right words to say
Leading towards a better day
Don't know
Nothing to show
Just me
And all that I see
All I wish to be
Some coming tomorrow
No need to beg or borrow
No tears
Lost are the fears
Carried by the years.
Uncertain
Of life's final curtain
Which way do I go
I choose to not know
But go with the flow
Everyone so angry it seems
Shattering dreams
Wishing for peace
Hate to cease
Planting the seed
Hearts in need
Take the lead
The battle I fight
To do what's right
To be the light
Leads to a lonely road
Such is this load
I wonder, do I even care
Let's be fair
If you dare
Somethimes it gets harder to open that door
Cause I want no more
But refuse to give in
For once I must win
Standing on my own
Old I have grown
So many seeds sown
Love is the only way
To see another day
With peace inside
Till then I hide
Must confide
Don't like what I see
Is this what it is to be free
Can't be among the hate
Don't need that fate
Hope it is not to late
Wish to be in that better day
The world loving in a better way
Change our fate
Get rid of hate
Wouldn't that be great
