Better To Have Loved

Little song in my heart
A tuneful melody,
Sings of love not lost
But gone to somewhere else instead,
Sings not of our loss,
Or of the tears we shed,
But of a tiny light that shone
And guided us so well,
That grief feels inappropriate,
It is praise we should give now.
