Thank you David. I don't usually say much about my writes, except during a reading Q&A session, but this was an assignment in college--Modern Poetry, I think, and as it was the only Haiku I ever wrote, it stuck in my head. I felt like resurrecting it :) Fear not, I have three ready to go for Linda's Haiku contest. Have a great weekend...mel

Indeed my sweet. And you may kid with me anytime--I'll be kidding with you. Heck, I kid with everybody. I did stand-up years ago (The Improv) but writing is harder; it's difficult to tell when one is kidding--unless we employ the infamous lol. I have my own acronym: wmp (Wet my pants). Feel free to use it :) Hugs // mel :)

this was thought provoking. I sure enjoyed seeing one like this tonight. Ignorance is bliss and those that never have loved do not know what they were missing?

Right you are Andrea. You're a perceptive and gifted poet. Yeah, it's a valid question. I went through a heartbreaking divorce--years ago, and it hurt. But the joy and ecstasy of those early years, and when we were dating, and I could be anything to her--a White Knight--I wouldn't trade that for anything. Thanks Andrea; see ya soon. Hugs // mel :)

Wow, that's news to me. I wonder where I would find that? What an honor--does that come with a plaque? lol. I already have plaques, but this is something to be proud of--unless you're playing with me. T is further evidence I'm not a hack, and that the blood of Emily (my distant cousin) courses through my veins. Thanks Jan. Love ya, mel :)

My dear friend Jan. How are you. How's Big Ben and Parliament. Did you know that the Queen visited Australia while I was living there, and I had the honor of meeting her--for about five seconds :) It was awesome, though! Glad you liked my Haiku. Hope all is well with you. hugs and peace // mel :)

I am sure when in the mist of the deep feelings of love lost that it would be a very difficult emotional time like having a close family member to die..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

My pleasure Sara; I enjoy your poetry. And thank you for dropping by to say hello and comment. As Dirty Harry remarked: "Comments make my day!-" Well, something like that. And I'm sad to reveal, I lost the love of my life--and am grieving still. It is painful--losing love and grief. I think grief is the most painful emotion we have to endure in life. Come back soon. Blessings// mel :)
