Better Not

Mirror mirror on the wall, better never fall at all, As long as you hang in there, People will stop and stare, To see their faces to hearts desire! But if you break to many tiny sizes, People will fear your prickly pieces, and sweep you away without a care, Expect no remorse to your despair! Tree, tree you stand so tall, Better never fall at all, As long as you stay upright, Many under your shade alight, But once you shake and fall down, You block the entire traffic in town, They chop you down to fire logs, No more love than stray dogs! Bird, bird stay ever in flight, Better never lose your height, As long as you stay up in the air, You can fly free without any care, But once you land on the ground, You could be prey to things around, You will be feathered when still alive, Under the talons you will not survive! Man, man you should stay calm, Better never you show alarm, As long as you stay your ground, Your social status will abound, But once you dither, fail or wail, People your status will curtail, You will be cast aside a rag, Forgotten like a worn out bag!
