Better Man

Don't ever think that I never see you smile
You paint colors everyday and they walk for a mile
The grin on your cheeks have stories to tell
Said I can be the man who'll treat you so well

Don't ever think that I never heard you sing
You put melody around making world go and fling
I just feel your heart has something to say
The way I look at you only brightens your day

Your love is fragile, young and gullible
But the one who really loves you is just invisible
I can't love you back the way that you do
Those feelings are normal but we can't undo.

I'm not the man you painted in your dream
Nor a man with a sword that lights like a beam
There's a better man waiting in the end
I can stand next to you and be a good friend
