Better Man

I can't keep from calling you, when you never answer the phone I just want us to talk it through but that can't done alone My three minutes are almost out, so I'll just talk to your machine I know your mad, without a doubt and your probably hating me I was a fool to treat you that way, those things I said were cruel Wishing I could take back that day, I am so sorry for hurting you I wish we could talk face to face, just to give us a brand new start Almost done now, don't push erase! I love you babe with all my heart

This sounds like it comes from your heart, Mitch, and I hope she forgives you. Flowers usually do the trick for most ladies, but she may sense your sincerity if you send her this poem (with flowers)! Many of us can relate to this. Who hasn't hurt someone they love? A sincere apology can often bring you even closer than you were before. Very honest, moving poem. Love, Carolyn
