Better Day Blues (Inspired By Life)

The Landlord told me...I gotta get out.
The Landlord told me...I gotta get out.
I ain't got no mo' money,
But I got plenty of doubts!
I put my things in my car...And drove away.
I put my things in my car...And drove away.
I didn't know what else to do,
I can only deal with one problem a day!
The Salvation Army...Took me in.
The Salvation Army...Took me in.
I pray to the Lord,
That she won't have to take me again!
The church down the street...Gave me some food.
The church down the street...Gave me some food.
Now that my belly is full,
I am in a better mood!
The Labor Pool told me...To sink or swim.
The Labor Pool told me...To sink or swim.
I ain't doin' nothin',
But makin' more money for them!
Soon one day soon...Things will get better.
Soon one day soon...Things will get better.
I hope and I pray,
That this won't be my last letter!
