Better
My life was so cold,
So abused, so alone,
Feeling empty, rejected, dejected,
Wanting not to exist.
So near, yet so far,
Blind and deaf,
My mind projects vivid memories,
My head producing loud voices.
Bold face, cowardly eyes,
Submissive body, rebellious mind,
Courageous soul, submissive heart,
Better I had been extinct.
Cruel world, cruel people,
Clear mind, corrupted heart,
Hateful but loving,
Better I had been extinct.
Thoughts of an uneducated mind,
Lacking wisdom or knowledge,
Better be thankful for what you have,
Better we have been alive.
