'betrayed Yet Again'

He was tall, 
dark & handsome!
I was ready 
to pay him a ransom!

I fell for 
his rookie charm,
All I wanted 
was to hold his arm!

So I approached him 
with fear in my mind,
To my surprise, 
he was super kind!

But I failed in my attempts 
to recognize him then!
Why do I meet guys like him 
over & over again???!!!

Sex was the only 
thing that he wanted!
The lack of love in his words 
made me feel unwanted!

I promise I won’t fall 
for a guy again!
Before doing so, 
I will surely rack my brain!
