Betrayed beyond the depths
In the caverns of a man's soul, there lies A love so deep, a love that defies All reason and longing, it pierces his core, A devotion that he cannot ignore.
With eyes ablaze like an eternal fire, He saw in her a love to aspire. He gave her his heart, his every breath, Trusting in her, his love's sweet caress.
But alas, the foundations crumbled fast, In shadows lurked deceit that would not last. She peered into his eyes, unflinching, cold, And tore their love apart, or so she told.
Betrayed, oh cruel treachery did descend, A searing pain, his heart would soon transcend. For in her hands, his trust she did forsake, Leaving him wounded, his soul left to ache.
Yet, through the depths of anguish and despair, He mourned their love, their dreams both fair and rare. For in his heart, her presence still remained. A love so deep it would forever pained.
He walked through days cloaked in shadows of doubt, Haunted by memories, love's sweetest clout. Her betrayal etched deep in his trembling chest, A wound so fresh, love's ache he could not divest.
Between the lines of sorrow and distress, He vowed to rise, to find solace, address The scars that she inflicted on his soul, To mend his.
