An apology, had need
Though no more, than a dime now
For yesterday, an ear would hear

A bully, they thought not
Laughter they refused to resist
For better, they were never
Accomplices, they were all;

For his heart was no stone
Though it was I, who birthed the joke
Forcing his hand to take his own
But leaving me with my earnings;
His betrayed soul...
