Betrayal For Olusegun Adelana

Body, frail and weak
Ending functions necessary for everyday life
Time has betrayed this life
Running fast into eternity
Anger, depression
Yearning for more to give
Admiration for my elder's tenacity
Life not lived yet...

For Olusegun Adelana's contest, Betrayal of nature
~~~Recieved a honorable mention in the contest~~~
Very well written acrostic and indeed the body does often betray us as we get older. Good luck on the contest. Best wishes, Caroline.
