Betrayal

It feels like an interruption of the most intense conversation your lips have ever touched It looks like a corpse on a cold slab with a toe tag that reads trust It tastes like vomit after a long night of poisoning yourself to forget It smells like the set ablaze burning of your own personal safety net It looks like the decomposition of a relationship altogether Something you were swayed to believe would last forever
