Betrayal

Friendship's worst enemy is betrayal, Trust's broken and is disabled, It all starts with a lie, And ends with a 'bye'. I think about the days, As u took advantage of me in many ways, But it's good for me anyway, Cause I have already learnt my lesson the hard way.

Your "Betrayal" is a wonderful write. Friendship is gone with a lie. I do not understand why people/friendships need to lie. So wrong. Have a blessed day...............

This was a lovely poem. Yes, life comes with many lessons. As you stated we must learn from them. Learn from them and move on to the next chapter of our lives. As I read this poem I thought of a gospel song we worship to in church which says "You got to let go and let God have His way."
