You didn’t have to
Go 
and hide it

But you did it 
Anyway

You 
sure 
have
A lot to say

But I 
Hide
My words 
away

Because expressing 
How 
I feel
To you
Would only 
get
In 
my 
way

I tell you 
I don’t 
know
How I feel
Because this is all
Way too 
real

You act like 
it’s not 
A big deal
That you are now
My best friend’s 
steal

When I remind you
How we 
were once 
a thing
You deny it,
and
It
Leaves 
a sting

You’re not living 
In 
reality

It’s 
So 
much 
easier
for
you 
Not 
to see

How you could
Be hurting 
Me...
